Trusperity
Referral Agreement
What a referral partner does, what they do not do, and how rewards work.

What you are agreeing to do
Give us the name of someone who might need help, and a way to reach them. That is the entire role.
What you are agreeing not to do
You do not negotiate. You do not discuss price or terms. You do not give advice about property, credit, debt, lending, insurance or employment. You do not represent yourself as an agent, employee or representative of Trusperity. You make the introduction and we take it from there.
Permission
Only pass on someone’s details if it is reasonable to do so. If they have asked you not to, do not.
How rewards work
Rewards are paid per successful referral, in the categories where paying an unlicensed introduction is lawful. There is no payment for an introduction that does not result in a completed transaction, and there is no payment in any category we have not published. We confirm the amount with you before any referral is made. See the earnings disclosure.
The formal terms
Awaiting attorney-supplied text
The plain-English summary above is written by us so this page is useful today. It is a summary and it is not the operative agreement. The binding legal text is drafted by Trusperity's attorney and replaces this notice. We do not write legal documents.
